I want to talk about the Greek World
I would get lost in Ithaca,
In mythical Ithaca,
The homeland of Ulysses
A small and quiet island
From there to travel
remembering the poem of Cavafis:
Full of experiences, of adventures
A long and slow journey,
Full of emotions for the body and soul
Full of sensations and love.
Learning and learning from those who know,
Getting to know cities and towns,
Buying gems, smelling plants.
Enjoying each day
And each star of the night
And a sunset at Cape Sounion over the Aegean
Contemplating the Greek temple of Poseidon,
After a bath in those crystal-clear waters.
